1. Introduction

 

By participating in the Connect Beyond Local Business Awards 2025 Promotional Draw ("the Promotion"), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The promoter is Connect Beyond.
 

 

2. Eligibility

 

 

1. The Promotion is open to all residents of Australia.

2. Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
    

 

3. How to Enter

 

To be eligible to win one of the five (5) prizes of $100, entrants must complete the following steps:
 

Step 1: Cast a valid vote for Connect Beyond in the Local Business Awards 2025 by completing the official online voting form. This includes providing your full name and email address.

Step 2: Confirm your vote by clicking the "CONFIRM VOTE" link in the email sent to you by The Local Business Awards.

Step 3: Take a screenshot of the "VOTE CONFIRMED" page and save it as proof of your valid vote. This screenshot will be required to claim a prize if you are selected as a winner.

Step 4: Submit your details (name and email address) via the official Google Form provided by Connect Beyond. The information you submit on this form must exactly match the information provided on your Local Business Awards voting form.

Step 5: You may submit one entry per valid email address. Multiple entries from the same person using different email addresses are permitted, provided each email is associated with a valid and confirmed vote.

4. Entry Period

 

 

The Promotion begins on August 11, 2025, and all entries must be submitted by 5:00 PM AEST on Friday, September 8, 2025. Any entries received after this time will not be eligible.

​

 

5. The Prize

 

 

There are a total of five (5) prizes, each consisting of $100 AUD.

 

The prize will be awarded as a bank transfer to the winner's nominated Australian bank account. No cash or other alternatives will be offered.

 

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.

​

 

6. Winner Selection and Notification

 

 

The five (5) winners will be selected in two separate draws using a digital random selection tool, specifically wheelofnames.com.

 

Draw 1: Two (2) winners will be drawn on Monday, August 26, 2025.

 

Draw 2: The remaining three (3) winners will be drawn on Monday, September 9, 2025.

 

All draws will be screen-recorded for transparency purposes.

 

Winners will be notified via the email address and/or phone number provided on their Google Form submission.

 

Connect Beyond will attempt to contact each winner up to five (5) times. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within the final attempt, another winner will be drawn. This process will repeat until a valid winner is confirmed for each prize.

 

Before a prize can be claimed, the winner must present a valid government-issued photo ID to Connect Beyond to verify their identity. The winner must also provide the "VOTE CONFIRMED" screenshot as proof of their valid vote.

 

By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to have their name and a recording of the winner notification call published by Connect Beyond for promotional and transparency purposes.

7. Disqualification

 

 

Any entry that does not meet the requirements outlined in these terms and conditions will be disqualified.

 

Entrants whose details on the Google Form do not exactly match their details on the Local Business Awards voting form and the confirmation screenshot will be disqualified.

 

Any attempt to manipulate the entry process or breach these terms will result in immediate disqualification. Connect Beyond's decision in all matters related to the Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Privacy

 

 

By entering the Promotion, you consent to Connect Beyond collecting and using your personal information for the purpose of administering this Promotion, including contacting you if you are a winner.

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with Connect Beyond's Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer

 

 

Connect Beyond and its associated agencies are not responsible for any technical failures, including but not limited to, website malfunctions, network issues, or lost or corrupted data.
